I really enjoyed this café! The coffee and espresso were truly delicious, and the atmosphere was great. It would be awesome if they served some sparkling water with the espresso, and I think the music could be a little quieter. Overall, though, it’s a fantastic place—I’ll definitely be back!

Had a great Cappuccino here, but what really stood out was the vibe and people. Anywhere there is a giant switchblade and The Cramps poster alongside great photos, vintage cameras and other poems and knickknacks is okay in my book. Good service and as I was waiting, two rough looking cats walked in...and started a game of chess, another table had a job interview going on, an older couple was chatting over a coffee and a young couple could have been there on their first date. I loved that this place was a gathering spot for all of them. Go here.

This is a slept on coffee shop in downtown Lorain. Come in and take in all the eye catching decor. Plenty of areas to sit and relax. The atmosphere is relaxed but cool. The staff was very warm and welcoming. My brown sugar vanilla cappuccino was deliciously smooth and all the flavorful syrups are made in house! The Hot chocolate was creamy with a hint of cinnamon. Must come in and see for yourselves they have a little something for everyone. Come to downtown Lorain and enjoy. EDIT: went in another time and a different girl made the coffee and it wasn’t consistent with the first time. :/

Magdalen’s Coffee Shop is truly a hidden gem in Lorain! Their matcha is hands-down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly smooth, rich, and made with so much care. The staff is always so warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like catching up with friends. It’s become a weekly tradition for us, and something we genuinely look forward to. Whether it’s the cozy atmosphere, amazing drinks, or kind people, Magdalen’s has our hearts. Highly recommend to anyone looking for their new favorite coffee spot! 💚

One of my favorite local spots in Lorain! I frequent often for a solid cup of coffee / matcha / tea and delicious treat, both sweet & savory. Love the staple baked goods, of course, but it’s fun when there are specialty treats for the seasons and holidays (some pictured). Most times I come, I post up for a couple of hours to work. But, I do find myself chatting alot with friends I’ve made within the community frequenting as well. The staff is wonderful and it’s been great to get to know them all personally, very friendly! I definitely recommend
